What We Do
The Center for Sustainability Science (CSS) is an interdisciplinary center, which hopes to accomplish Academia Sinica's one of the missions: "fulfill social responsibility in crucial areas." Instead of exploring scientific problems in single focus research area, the CSS was established in 2012 to promote interdisciplinary sustainability science research to resolving contemporary sustainability problems.
